Can’t believe it’s all down to this! The next few days are going to be nuts – fingers crossed for sunshine!
3 more weeks to go to the big day! I can’t believe over a year of planning and we’re almost there! I’m tired, exhausted, stressed, and sooooo excited! Too bad work work had to be about as busy as it possibly could be right at the same time as all this!
Lots of little things to finalize but we’re getting there. Will be good to get away and enjoy a relaxing spa weekend retreat with my girl Elizabeth! But first … tonight is BSB! Woot! Woot!
Can’t wait to see you all in a few weeks!
On Sunday July 25th, with the assistance of my bridesmaids, my mom hosted a bridal shower for me. We had high tea at the Fairmont Vancouver Hotel! It was super yummy and lots of fun!

The engagement photo session (e-session) with C+L was so much fun!!! We had a blast and I will not deny I love having my picture taken! Click here for a sample of PROOFS (BEFORE touch ups) that we are sharing. When you get to our wedding reception, check out the guest book as the final images will be there.
Wow we’re less than a month away!!!
I had been told the food at the Vancouver Convention Centre was good but it really was FANTASTIC! This weekend, my mom and I were treated to the Chef’s Table, an opportunity to taste the buffet menu Allan and I had selected. We were not disappointed! We sampled salads, a gorgeous seafood platter, yummy chicken, spinach ravioli and my personal favourite … carved striploin cooked to exactly how I like it! The chef came and chatted with us as we went through each course with wine pairings and a very attentive waiter on hand. We learned that the kitchen is a scratch kitchen so they everything is created there … well, from scratch – INCLUDING the truffles! No freezing! They know exactly what goes into each dish! The Convention Centre also tries to buy local as much as possible and organic in many cases. So wedding guests … I highly recommend … COME HUNGRY! And be sure to grab prawns from the cold seafood platter, the free range chicken, and some carved beef!

We’ve hit and surpassed the 200 person mark with a number of RSVP’s still to come. C’mon people – you know who you are!
We’re approaching the 100 day countdown mark … things are starting to pick up! Many people have asked me how I feel about this whole “planning” thing … I still love it!!! What’s not to love about planning a day all about you? … I mean us?
I’m heading to Hong Kong and Bali tonight to visit my BFF and MOH – Denise!!! (Check out our sweet villa in Bali)
While I’ll be living it up in Asia … Al’s having his stag. Houseboating on Lake Havasu … somewhere near Vegas.
We’ve now had 65% of our invitations responded to. Come on other 45%!!!
For those of you flying from SFO to YVR for our wedding … seats are on sale with West Jet and Air Canada!!! Get them cuz they’ll go fast!
